Im really hoping to get the abstract tag enough traffic to become featured. It has a decent flow already, and surely it would not take too much more to get tumblr’s attention. I sent an email out, and all they said was “post stuff and tag it!” so I just wanna request of everyone to tag their abstract posts with abstract.

Now here’s why I feel this should be a feature tag:
You may be thinking, “why do we need abstract if we have the design tag or the art tag?” Those tags are wonderful tags, but they aren’t abstract. With an abstract tag, users on tumblr will be able to see the best of the abstract, not just art, not just design, not just black and white, not just artists on tumblr. I believe that the abstract is what society is moving towards, and tumblr should seize that opportunity. The abstract tag would showcase, in my opinion, some of the best of the art tag, the design tag, the black and white tag, the artists on tumblr tag, the tech tag, etc.
People always wonder what it takes to make the radar, and about half of what’s on the radar should be in the abstract tag. Abstract is what the tumblr community loves. Its interesting. Its “cool.” It’s modern.
So help me out guys and tag your posts with abstract. Reblog this post to get the word spread around please.
